Celebration Drink for a Celebratory Day

Today is a special day for me as I will be graduating! With that, it only seems appropriate to provide a celebratory drink :) This is a quick and easy drink mixture. The ingredients are St. Germain, Brut Champagne, and cranberry juice.

Place a little St. Germain in the bottom of the champagne glass (you don’t need much). Then pour the Champagne nearly to the top. Only a tad of cranberry juice is necessary…it is for a little flavor and mainly a nice rosy color :)

Surprise Box from Indulge

We also enjoyed a surprise box from Indulge (Lafayette, CO). These are always a lot of fun as you get to try different yummy, baked goods :)
Enjoy! Have a great weekend everyone!

    • Thank you! Ya even though it will be harder I think it will be more fun because like you said your focusing in on something you are interested in…instead of in the Bachelor’s where you have to take so many classes you aren’t interested in!

      Thanks for stopping by :)

  1. Congrats on the graduation–yay! Also, thanks for liking foodforfun’s “from scratch” (?) tortillas. I just bought a bottle of St. Germain, so fun to see your recipe. Looks delish. AND congrats on the award:-) I signed on to follow you a few weeks back, but haven’t gotten notification on any of your posts. ??? Will keep stopping by just the same.

    • Thanks Liz! Ya the “from scratch” tortillas sound better than the store bought…there is always so much junk in those ones. I think I will be posting a totally from scratch tortilla recipe soon that is very easy and so yummy!!

Ya I thought you were already following me but then it told me today that you were again? I don’t know…possibly you were following comments and not posts? I have no idea but hopefully you get the notifications now! :)

  2. Congratulations Lily! Some good bubbly is always a great way to celebrate and I like your twist on it. I could certainly use a surprise box of baked goodies with my cup of tea right now. This post made me think of mimosas with Sunday brunch! Which beer was it that you mentioned I might try to find?

    • I love mimosas! And Sunday brunch! :) Well the first one we were talking about was a kolsch style (http://goo.gl/DS1Gu) and the the one I think I recently mentioned was the Ice Cream Clone Stout (http://goo.gl/wr4jV). That one is from a local brewery so I don’t think it is distributed anywhere. But check out my review and then maybe you can find a similar one near you! :)

    • I know, right!? The surprise boxes from Indulge are pretty much the best thing ever…they are the day olds (which are still amazing!) and cheaper..and you don’t have to decide what you want…big issue for me..I am so indecisive!! :)

      Thank you!!!

Comments make me :D
