Colorado Brewers’ Festival

The 2012 Colorado Brewers’ Festival was this past weekend. It takes place in downtown Fort Collins at the end of June every year.

This festival is a great time to taste beers from breweries all over Colorado.

Enjoy live music and lots of SUNSHINE. It was my 2nd time going and the 23rd year it has been running.

Colorado Brewers come out to share their craft beers. There is over 70 beers to try so pick and choose wisely! 🙂

There was Boulder Beer, Crazy Mountain Brewing, Bristol Brewing, Durango Brewing, Del Norte Brewing, Estes Park Brewery, Oscar Blues, Funkwerks, and Great Divide to name a few 🙂

Festival tips: Wear LOTS of sunscreen. Bring a WATER bottle (they typically have a place to fill up). Bring a few snacks if you don’t mind carrying it around.

Last year the event seemed organized. It was croweded but the line to get in was not long. This year there was a groupon which brought in a lot more people and the wait to get in was kind of ridiculous. I think in the future they will fix that but there is also a VIP option which gets you right in and there is a shaded section for only VIP as well as snacks and beer.

Overall the experience was still AWESOME.
