Jelly

Jelly is located in the heart of Capitol hill (Denver). It is a fabulous breakfast place that creates breakfast platters with a twist πŸ™‚

The donut bites are a wonderful way to start out your experience at Jelly and they recently came out with four new flavors…Lemon Custard, Thai, Bhakti, and Maple Bacon. Yes, you heard me correctly, they have maple bacon donut bites so if you are one of those people that love the combination of maple and bacon this might just be your spot because they also have Bacon Pancakes πŸ™‚

All the flavors are delicious! Even the ones that sound a little crazy are made perfectly. None of them are too sweet or sugary…they are a delightful donut bite πŸ˜€

The original flavors are probably still my favorite because I love the jelly and creme fillings that just ooze out with the first bite.

There are so many great choices at Jelly. The eggs Benedict options and scrambles are delicious. It is difficult to decide but you won’t regret most choices.

When I was there last we both went with a special. One was an eggs Benedict with creole sausage, sauteed spinach and poached eggs topped with hollandaise on artisan sourdough.

The other special was braised pork belly, caramelized onion, potatoes and mushrooms topped with two eggs. This was good but not necessarily my favorite thing I have had at Jelly.

If you are every visiting Denver or get to call Denver home, Jelly is a great place for breakfast. They also have a lunch menu which I haven’t tried yet. The Jelly Burger with homemade jalapeno jelly, cream cheese, and sprouts is definitely something I want to try soon.
