Jelly is located in the heart of Capitol hill (Denver). It is a fabulous breakfast place that creates breakfast platters with a twist π
The donut bites are a wonderful way to start out your experience at Jelly and they recently came out with four new flavors…Lemon Custard, Thai, Bhakti, and Maple Bacon. Yes, you heard me correctly, they have maple bacon donut bites so if you are one of those people that love the combination of maple and bacon this might just be your spot because they also have Bacon Pancakes π
All the flavors are delicious! Even the ones that sound a little crazy are made perfectly. None of them are too sweet or sugary…they are a delightful donut bite π
The original flavors are probably still my favorite because I love the jelly and creme fillings that just ooze out with the first bite.
There are so many great choices at Jelly. The eggs Benedict options and scrambles are delicious. It is difficult to decide but you won’t regret most choices.
When I was there last we both went with a special. One was an eggs Benedict with creole sausage, sauteed spinach and poached eggs topped with hollandaise on artisan sourdough.
The other special was braised pork belly, caramelized onion, potatoes and mushrooms topped with two eggs. This was good but not necessarily my favorite thing I have had at Jelly.
If you are every visiting Denver or get to call Denver home, Jelly is a great place for breakfast. They also have a lunch menu which I haven’t tried yet. The Jelly Burger with homemade jalapeno jelly, cream cheese, and sprouts is definitely something I want to try soon.

I am a fan of Jelly’s as well. The new lemon donut bites are delicious and the biscuits & gravy are to die for. Best of all, it’s in my neighborhood.

he he it is pretty good π If you ever visit Denver, you must check it out! π
What a great place for breakfast. I love the look of the eggs benedict. That’s my kind of breakfast! xx
Me too! You can’t go wrong with eggs Benedict π
Chris took me there a couple weeks ago. We had the Thai/Maple Bacon donuts and then I had the Chorizo & Sweet Potato breakfast. Delicious!
ha ha yes, he told me what donuts you guys got!! I was jealous π The Chorizo and sweet potato breakfast sounds awesome! I need to try that. Thank for commenting Jeff!
For a minute there when scrolling down I only saw donuts and I wondered to myself what kind of beer would you drink with donuts but its not a beer at all but a bloody mary. My kind of breakfast!
he he, yes!! I love bloody mary’s π I am hoping to post a simple bloody mary concoction soon…we also do “red” beers for breakfast…a light beer like coors light with a spot of tomato juice.
Do you mix the beer and the tomato juice? Really that is quite interesting I never thought to do that. Take Care, BAM
You don’t physically need to mix (stir) together but yes you combine the two…only about a shot glass full of tomato juice poured into the beer π
OMG – that food looks great and is making me hungry, and it’s too early in the day for lunch!! Will definitely try this one next time in Denver. Was there last year in the fall, wish I’d have known then, love the doughnut bites, they look very yummy!!
ha ha you definitely need to try it out! It is so delicious! Snooze is great too.
