Burger and Beer Float

Everyone loves a burger and milkshake…only this time I switched the milkshake with a float and the root beer with a real beer :D

The burger was delicious and it went well followed by a swig of an ice cream float with an espresso stout.

I put a few scoops in one of my big beer glasses and then filled it with the Big Shot Espresso Stout by Twisted Pine Brewing.

The Big Shot Espresso Stout is delicious alone…it is a dark, creamy, thick stout infused with espresso. Beer and coffee lovers will enjoy this delightful creation! ;)

The already rich and creamy beer tasted even creamier with the vanilla ice cream :)

The Beer Float still left a nice milk mustache :D

  1. oh i love a good stout beer too. some coconut ice cream ( i can’t eat the other kind) and some chocolate stout. Whew…what a treat. Jotting this down for a rainy day to try. :)

  2. Ummmm… you guys are GENIUS. Hard cider + vanilla ice cream? Whaaaaat? I’m so excited about that! Also– where might I find this espresso beer? I think my brother-in-law would dig it and he is the hardest person on earth to shop for.

    • That would be a great gift!! Checking out your page, I see you live in NC? The beer is by Twisted Pine which started in Boulder, CO. I checked their site and it looks like they haven’t made it to NC yet :( they are in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Missouri and Nebraska for now. You might be able to find another espresso stout…if I hear of anything distributed in your area I will let you know! :)

  3. LOVE it! Just today was contemplating pouring some hard cider over vanilla ice cream…should I do it? (of course I should:-)) Awesome photos, per usual.

    • ha ha I haven’t tried hard cider over vanilla ice cream but I am sure it would be great! Let me know when you try it!! You gave me another idea for a holiday post ;) Thank you Liz!!
