Sweet Jesus!

Looking back at my Christmas gifts it seems my family considers me a big foodie 😀

This Christmas I got all kinds of goodies…Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce, “Nutella” (organic kind), Lingua Birichina (long thick noodles from Italy), dried Gourmet mushrooms, and Goat Milk Caramels among other things.

The day after Christmas we decided to do a little shopping at Nordstrom Rack (Boulder) and due to reoccurring events it seems a nice beer at Twisted Pine Brewing always follows.

We went with a whole flight of beer tasters…there were plenty that I enjoyed but Sweet Jesus fits perfectly with my Winter Beer Week.

The Sweet Jesus seasonal beer is a delicious Christmas beer. It was a perfectly spiced, creamy beer. The Sweet Jesus stems from the Cream Style Stout but with molasses, cloves and cinnamon added.

The tap room was recently expanded/remodeled. It is very cozy and perfect for enjoying a beer on a cold day 🙂

Sweet Jesus is only available in the tap room so get there soon! It isn’t listed on the website but it will probably be available for the next month (or until it runs out!).

  5. I got new dishes for photos. Last year I got an apron. I love that little Recipes book with the spoon! Super Cute!! Pour that raspberry chipotle sauce over some cream cheese and get some crackers or bread… omg so good!! I had a Celebration Ale at Pack’s Tavern in Asheville a couple weeks ago and it tasted much like your Sweet Jesus sounds. It was great!! Hope your holidays were super! Happy New Year!

    • Hey, Heather! Ya, I am thinking the raspberry sauce over cream cheese or brie! 🙂 I am so excited to try it but need to wait until a special day. Celebration Ale sounds fun. There are so many great Christmas beers…I am always amazed how they can make Christmas into a glass of beer 🙂
