It is great when food ideas stem from the contents within your own cupboard
To kick off the new year my first attempt at cooking with beer was a success! I experimented with a Tomato Chicken Chili Beer Soup.
Billy’s Chilies by Twisted Pine Brewing (Boulder, CO) has sparked so many new ideas for cooking with beer. Obvious by its name, Billy’s Chilies is infused with chili peppers. The chili aroma lures you in but don’t drink too fast, there is some heat in the finish making it perfect for spicing up things
Along with Billy’s Chilies, this tasty dish had tomato soup, chicken, white beans, hominy, and other seasonings. Since I am still perfecting the dish, you’ll have to wait for the recipe! I know, I am so cruel!
Happy Friday!

I am not as good at just thinking of fun ideas in my head but when I see items in front of me it is easier to decide if they will be good together
With my new goals in 2013 though I am trying to expand my creativity
