The Endless Summer Beer and Spirits Festival was a great event to finish off the summer. At least for me, my summer is technically over as I start class today š I cannot complain too much though since it has been a great summer full of lots of fun activities, brews and bites š
Imbibe Denver put this fun event together that brought tastings from local distilleries and breweries. There were also tasty bites from local restaurants: Humble Pie, Illegal Pete’s, Vesper Lounge and The Real Dill. Endless Summer was not just about booze, food, and music but also about raising awareness for H20. Water For People, a non-profit for water preservation and sanitation, made a presence there to help educate attendees on everything water.
Now to the booze…there were a lot of familiar brews from breweries like Great Divide and Ska but I was excited to taste some new ones from Verboten Brewing and Strange Brewing. Verboten had two beers that I really enjoyed: In Love with Summer and Halt and Stay. In Love with Summer was a Strawberry Rhubarb Wheat…need I say more? š The Halt and Stay is an Imperial Red aged in Whiskey barrels and served on NITRO to make a smooth and creamy beer.
Strange had a Grapefruit IPA that was amazing. Of course, I love my IPAs and I love grapefruit so it was perfect for me š It was both citrus-y and hoppy.
There were quite a few distilleries but I only got a chance to try Spring 44 and Roundhouse Spirits. Spring 44 had an amazing honey vodka. It was very smooth on the finish and delicious in a Moscow Mule. Roundhouse Spirits was also serving cocktails- they had a gin watermelon-infused drink.
Overall, Endless Summer was a fun event and a great way to spend my last weekend of summer! š

ha ha I’m sorry! š I try to cleanse or avoid certain foods and I never do well…I think just eating in moderation is more my style. Thanks!
I don’t mean to imply anything about your eating habits š
