Great atmosphere, good company, and craft beer at Denver Beer Co.

The Denver Beer Company started in local garages of people that are passionate about beer and love the art of brewing. The Brewmasters at the Denver Beer Company brew small batches so they are constantly experimenting with new brews giving us different beers to taste all the time.

They have been open less than a year, as their doors opened August 2011, yet they are blooming with people that love craft beer, a good atmosphere, and great company. Many summer evenings will be spent here due to the fun and lively atmosphere.

Casey Capper, Head Honcho & FunmaistΓ© at Denver Beer Co., says it is one of the most intimate settings for craft beers in Denver.

With the beers constantly changing, a taster flight always seems a good idea! All the beers are unique with some made with lavender, basil, lime, coffee…quoting my sister “tastes like chewing on coffee beans.” The Kenya Karatina Coffee Stout would have been great for dessert with some ice cream or as a before noon beer πŸ˜€

The Graham Cracker Porter is their signature beer. This is the only beer that remains on the list…it won a Bronze Medal at the 2011 Great American Beer Festival.

They provide games (Battleship, Connect 4, etc.) to play. They serve soft pretzels at the bar and there is usually a food truck outside. You can also bring your own snacks to enjoy!

This past Friday the Colorado Microbrewery Bucketlist and Beer Lovers Meetup gathered to visit with new people, enjoy tasty beers and have a good time. Evident from the title, this meetup involves beer lovers that are looking to visit local breweries and hangout with cool people. If you are interested check out the meetup page for upcoming events.
