Endless beer tastings from over 45 breweries, cheese and beer pairings, food trucks, and live music depicts the Summer Brew Fest this past weekend.
The Summer Brew Fest was this last Friday, July 26 at the Mile High Station. There are Summer and Winter Brew Fests held in Denver at the Mile High Station annually. RightOn Productions puts these events together and proceeds benefit Swallow Hill Music.
There was live music by 22 Kings and The Congress. Though the Winter Brew Fest is only inside, the Summer Brew Fest stretches to the outside allowing us to enjoy the nice weather and spread out.
There were many beers I had already tasted but still some new ones like Lagunitas Lucky 13, No-Li Crystal Bitter, Twisted Pine Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout, Upslope Imerial IPA, and Boulevard 80-Acre.
The Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout was a particular favorite. I absolutely love peanut butter and chocolate and this stout was brewed to satisfy both cravings. The peanut butter truly came through in the beer and made me want some vanilla ice cream to enjoy with it 😀
With lots of craft beer, yummy food trucks, and live music, can it be anything short of a great time!?
Save the date for the Winter Brew Fest that will be Friday, January 24 and Saturday, January 25 2014.
