It is great when food ideas stem from the contents within your own cupboard π To kick off the new year my first attempt at cooking with beer was a success! I experimented with a Tomato Chicken Chili Beer Soup.
Billy’s Chilies by Twisted Pine Brewing (Boulder, CO) has sparked so many new ideas for cooking with beer. Obvious by its name, Billy’s Chilies is infused with chili peppers. The chili aroma lures you in but don’t drink too fast, there is some heat in the finish making it perfect for spicing up things π
Along with Billy’s Chilies, this tasty dish had tomato soup, chicken, white beans, hominy, and other seasonings. Since I am still perfecting the dish, you’ll have to wait for the recipe! I know, I am so cruel!
Happy Friday! π
